“I just had to let you know that I experienced kava for the first time on a trip to Fiji. I was amazed at how deeply imbedded into the culture kava kava is. It is as prevalent there as alcohol is here, but without the havok that alcohol seems to wreak in the world. Anyway, I read so much about how the taste of Kava is unpleasant, but, to be honest, I thought the flavor was quite rich. It was slightly bitter, but there was a sweetness to it. And the effects! – The effects were far more pleasant than a drink of any alcohol I have ever had! It could have been the place I was in, with Fijians present dressed up in traditional clothing, or my excitement, but I was hooked from the first taste. Now, it’s a part of my world and my life often, and we are hoping some Kava bars will open in our town soon.”

“I know I’m not supposed to talk about Kava Kava medicinally, since it’s only an herbal supplement, but I have to say that I have been a sufferer of lower back pain for many years, and became addicted to prescription medication trying to fight it. Kava has literally changed my world and my life; I started using Kava as an alternative to medication to fight my back pain, but I also found that one of its side-effects has been reducing my anxiety as well! – What could be better? I found it extremely effective in helping me deal with my pain, but then found that it put me in a better mood on top of it. I’m hooked, and want to tell everyone about this amazing new discovery that everyone except me seems to have known about for thousands of years.”
