These infusers are used for various purposes when working with your Kava. When making a drink, the root needs to be “massaged” to get all of the active kavalactones out and into your drink. These are perfect for that purpose. But, they’re also fine enough to make tea with as well.
The XSmall Size Muslin Herbal Infuser is 2.75″ x 4″ , Small size Muslin Herbal Infuser is 5″ x 7″ , Medium size Muslin Herbal Infuser is 6″x9″, and the Large size Muslin Herbal Infuser is 8″ x 10″.

What is the material? If this is synthetic, the quality of the Kava will be tainted; Cotton, &, or Hemp would not destroy the alkaloids, compounds of the Kava! The Kava is a unique drink when properly filtered, beautiful!

If you are without this product, you won’t be very successful at making a kava drink. Cheesecloth and coffee filters DO NOT work. You NEED one of these bags. The size is perfect depending on your needs, so make sure you get the right size. I have the medium size which is perfect for most 1-4 people situations in my household when serving kava. Customer service was excellent – I received a bag that had a tear in it – kava.com offered superior customer service and very quickly replaced the faulty bag I had originally received. I would highly recommend this site to anyone, and this product is a “must-have” essential for every kava user.
